The 6th Annual Excellence in Local Government Awards will be presented at a gala ceremony in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin on Wednesday 28th October 2009. The awards are run in association with the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

Ireland-Wales Interconnector - Approved Planning Permission Welcomed
Chambers Ireland has welcomed the approved planning permission for a new interconnector linking Ireland to Wales and the wider British energy market.
Lisbon Treaty Referendum
The decision by the people of Ireland to pass the Lisbon Treaty referendum, has been welcomed by Chambers Ireland, who campaigned in conjunction with the Business for Europe Group which is a collection of over 50 organisations who campaigned for a Yes vote.
