Rates for the forthcoming year

Follwing lobbying and encouragement from Athy Chamber to reduce, or at the very least keep static, rates, for the forthcoming year, which are are a burden on all our businesses, Athy Town Council have agreed tonight to reduce the rates for the forthcoming year by 1 %. Athy Chamber are delighted and thank our Town Councillors in making their inspired decision. Councillors John Lawler and Mark Dalton were instrumental in assisting the Councillors in making their inspired decision and we thank them and their fellow Councillors in recognising this valuable help to our businesses. By working together we can all withstand business pressures, grow and develop our businesses. Athy Chamber works for all our businesses and encourages your continued support.
