Athy Traffic ! Athy Southern Distributor Road and Traffic Management Plan

Athy has been devilled with bad traffic for years. Unfulfilled promises have been made. The Southern Distributor Road is on hold. Liam Dunne and the Athy Traffic Committee, which has wide support in Athy, have made reasonable achievable proposals to help traffic management and traffic flow but it has been decided that Traffic Experts from outside Athy know best. A draft Traffic Management Plan has been drawn up and is on public display in the Carlton Abbey Hotel on Wednesday the 3rd February, 2010 betwwen 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Please come and see what those from outside our town believe will aid traffic management and traffic flow. Then make your viewsknown, preferably to the Athy Traffic Management Committee and allow them represent all your views to the Town Council and to Kildare County Council.
